Setting the Fell on Fire: Allenheads Contemporary Arts
On Thursday 2nd April Allenheads Contemporary Arts will be opening a new gallery space in Newcastle city centre, ACAdovetail. The event will be a double celebration launching the new gallery and the long awaited publication charting ACA’s work over the last 12 years.
The inaugural exhibition takes its title from the book, Setting the Fell on Fire: Allenheads Contemporary Arts, and will showcase a selection of work by artists who have been involved with ACA in Northumberland. The book, with essays by Tracey Warr, Rob La Frenais and David Butler, is published by Art Editions North and distributed through Cornerhouse Books.
