The Coast to Coast cycle route runs from the Cumbrian
coast in North West England, to the East coast near
Newcastle. This split-screen film piece looks at the C2C
through the eyes of this mobile cycling community.
The landscape of Northumbria is engaged with intensely
by these cyclists, via its asphalt, its bumps, puddles,
inclines and stopping points. It explores the notion of the
road as a centre for community and a focus for
commonality.
